I'm baaaaack! After a little hiatus I'm back here on the blog to share my collection of inspirations for my latest project, a Cape Cod farmhouse.
It has been a B-U-S-Y summer. With a move and new side job - a lot has been going on! Shout out to ColorWorks in Lexington… if you ever find yourself with idle time on a Saturday and are in need of assistance choosing paints colors I'm your gal! Very excited to be one of their newest Color Ambassadors there. I <3 Color!!!
Anyway, back to design. The latest projects is for a couple that owns a historical Cape Cod home (built in the 1800s!) The home is undergoing some renovations and updates and I have been tasked with adding the finishing touches. Beachy is easy… beach meets farmhouse can get a tad confusing but it is definitely a successful aesthetic in more homes than you would think in Cape Cod. Here are my inspirations for what I call the "New England Classic" style…. aka Farmhouse Meets Beach. Think lots of neutrals, textures, bold cream and white stripes, mismatched chairs, tin, wrought iron and distressed wood.
