I learned in design school that every room is well served when a traditionally "ugly" color is introduced. This creates a contrast against the colors in your palette that you love so that they can shine even more brightly. Though counterintuitive, adding a color you hate to your palette ultimately creates a rich design with the "it" factor people won't quite be able to explain but will most certainly fall head over heels for.
These rooms have just the right amount of "ugly"
